Educators & Administrators Unite for Equitable Funding

The Connecticut Coalition for Public Education (CCPE) at a June 21 State Capitol news briefing called for a comprehensive analysis of the resources needed to assure students' learning opportunities. Organizations representing the state's public school educators and support staff, administrators, school board officials and parent-teacher associations are proposing a new commission to address funding and equity issues.

Watch education stakeholders share how their recommendation for a Connecticut Achievement and Resource Equity in Schools (CARES) Commission is the path forward to create a long-term strategic plan.
